Can I use my own domain name with my ZapSites web site?
Yes. We allow you to point up to four different domain names to your web site. Simply set it up through the DNS system at your registrar. Use these two nameservers; dns.sitesinseconds.com and dns2.siteinseconds.com. This can be a confusing process, so please don't hesitate to contact us if you need help. There's no additional charge for this service.

What do I need in order to get started with "ZapSites"?

What do I need in order to get started with "ZapSites"?
We're going to do most of the work, so you won't need very much. Just let us know when to call, and a designer will call you to gather the information we need to set up your site. We will want you to provide us a picture of yourself, preferably in digital format (.jpg, .gif, .bmp, .tif, etc.). If you have a brochure, resume, or other advertising we'd love to get copies of them to tie your whole marketing program together.
How long does it take to setup my web site?
Where most companies or individual designers may take a week or more to show you a concept of your site, we'll have it ready for your approval in four to six hours. Depending on how well we communicate with you, your site can be live in 24-48 hours, and making you proud in just a few days.
Do I need HTML or design experience?
No. You never have to get your hands dirty. If your site needs adjustments, just let us know and we'll get you fixed up at a highly discounted rate.

How long will it take before other people can view my site on the Web?
How do I get my domain name pointed to my new site?
How long will it take before other people can view my site on the Web?
Your web site can be viewed immediately! Simply use the address assigned to you when we create your site. However, your site will not automatically appear in search engines. You will need to register your web site with search engines before others will be able to search for your site using a search engine. Most good search engines are no longer completely free. Some off "Pay Per Click" programs, others offer paid submissions, still others offer keywords for purchase. We would be happy to advise you on programs that will help you appear in the proper searches.
How do I get my domain name pointed to my new site?
Simply login to your domain registrar and enter our DNS in the nameservers boxes. They are dns.sitesinseconds.com and dns2.sitesinseconds.com. Then notify us so that we can update our nameservers to help the rest of the Internet find you. Note that you will not want to point to our servers until you've actually purchased your site from us as it does not enter our DNS until that point. Any questions, please contact us.
